Its electrical and optical circular connectors feature a rugged design tough enough to perform in the harshest environments to minimise vibration, withstand temperature extremes and resist moisture. To meet diverse constraints, like size, weight, power and data volume or speed, the company offers a range of contact configurations, including low and high voltage, fibre optics, hybrid connections for transmitting gas or fluid in the same body and features such as IP68, IP69 and hermetic sealing, high speed data transfer, 360° EMC shielding, push?pull locking system for fast, easy, reliable connections, and over 10,000 mating cycles guaranteed.
The miniature, high?density Fischer MiniMax series now includes an even smaller connector, MiniMax 06, which combines up to 10 signal and two power (5A) contacts in a footprint of just 10mm. Rugged, light and easy to use, it ensures premium performance in any weather, says the company.
For safely transporting and storing sensitive data in harsh environments, there is a new USB 3.0 version of the Rugged Flash Drive. This miniature and lightweight memory stick is durable and designed for people on the go who need to download and securely transfer confidential data, images or videos from devices used in extreme environmental conditions or in hard-to-reach areas.
Finally, to ensure high optical performance and easy cleaning even in the field, the FiberOptic series now includes a single fibre optic connector, the FO1. This miniature, lightweight, rugged connectivity solution has IP68 sealing (mated) and UPC and SM APC polishing, making it easy to use and clean.
