Danfoss announces first DrivePro Life Cycle partners
After launching its comprehensive DrivePro family of life cycle support services, Danfoss Drives has now announced the appointment of the first two approved DrivePro partner companies PnP Motion Controls of Mossley, Greater Manchester and Varicon 3D Drives of Malvern in Worcestershire. Both companies are long standing members of the Danfoss UK wide service partner network and will complement Danfoss in the delivery of the nine services that currently make up the DrivePro portfolio: Start Up, Preventive Maintenance, Extended Warranty, Remote Monitoring, Remote Expert Support, Spare Parts, Exchange, Upgrade and Retrofit. These underpin all service and support for the Danfoss and Vacon branded drive products.
“Having developed the DrivePro family of services to provide our customers with a single, highly professional support portfolio for our drives, we have now set about selecting the best and most dedicated of our business partners to help us implement this important program,” said Tony Allen, National Distribution Manager at Danfoss Drives. “And we are very pleased to announce that PnP and Varicon are the first companies in the UK to reach the very high standards required to become approved DrivePro partners. These appointments are an important step towards achieving our goal of ensuring that DrivePro is simply the world’s best drive support program.”
Varicon offers power electronics maintenance and support for a wide range of major organisations in the UK, including many of the largest water utilities. It is an independent company with a wealth of drive-related experience gained from working with its extensive and discerning customer base.
