Delta puts spotlight on high-efficiency inverters at Energaia 2021

Delta will be present at Energaia 2021, hosted at the Montpellier Exhibition Centre from December 8–9. The focus of its presence at the exhibition will be the new Flex series, which now includes four new inverters: the M15A, M20A, M30A, M50A and the new M100A. All have been engineered to be highly reliable and capable of fulfilling multiple application requirements, extending from residential to commercial. Another highlight will be the brand new M250HV, which offers input voltages from 550 to 1500 VDC and has been designed specifically for large ground-mounted PV plants.

The Flex series family has been expanded with the addition of four new three-phase inverters: the M15A, M20A, M30A, M50A and the M100A. With their design concept inherited from the M70A Flex, the whole series is said to be highly reliable and compatible with multiple applications. The M50A is a technological twin of the M70A. Delta says this benefits customers by making it easy to integrate both inverters into large rooftop installations. Additional key features include six MPP trackers for up to 12 DC strings for the M50A, optional DC SPD Type 1+2 and ground mounting as well as a wide input voltage range.

The M100A is an evolution of the M70A with additional key features including eight MPP trackers for up to 16 DC strings, optional DC SPD Type 1+2 and ground mounting as well as a wide input voltage range.

To ensure a fast installation, the M15A, M20A and M30A Flex inverters feature an AC-plug solution, Wi-Fi connectivity for easy integration into a WLAN, and three MPP trackers for the M20A and M30A to allow more flexibility in the design of the PV array. Combined, these features make the Flex inverters an ideal solution for residential and small commercial PV plant applications.

Also new is the M250HV, which Delta says is an ideal solution for super-large ground-mounted PV plants. Up to 30 DC strings can be connected to its 12 MPP trackers. Handling of heavy AC cables is made as easy as possible thanks to the spacious AC Connection box.

“The development of the M250HV benefits from our extensive experience in the field of inverters for utility-scale photovoltaic systems,” commented Andreas Hoischen, senior director of the photovoltaic inverters business Unit at Delta Electronics EMEA region. “Customers benefit from a compact, easy-to-install and low-maintenance inverter designed to operate reliably even under the harshest environmental conditions.”
