DIRAK invests in the UK market with expanded storage capacity, sales and product range
DIRAK is continuing to invest in growth and customer proximity in the UK, with an expanded warehouse, a stronger sales team and targeted product innovations for specific industries - underlining the company's clear focus on customer proximity. The aim is to offer UK customers the best possible service - fast, reliable and flexible.
Highlights of the investment include an expansion of the company's warehouse capacity to over 340 linear metres for faster availability, and new product solutions for medical apparatus engineering, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning sector and the food processing industry.
Since the opening of the warehouse and office in the UK, the storage capacity has been expanded by a further 40 linear metres of shelf space to a total of over 340 linear metres. This step enables even better stocking for UK customers - with the aim of realising deliveries within 24 hours, without complicated minimum order quantities or cumbersome call-off orders. "Our customers appreciate the uncomplicated availability of our products and we do everything we can to ensure that they get what they need quickly and reliably," explains Paul Lewis Shepherd, Technical Sales Engineer at DIRAK.
The increased storage capacity at the Redditch site will enable even greater and more diverse stock availability and faster delivery for the UK market in future.
Focus on industry-specific product innovations
The product range continues to develop dynamically. Particularly noteworthy is the development of a compact quarter-turn fastener for medical devices and the expansion of the compression handle series for the air conditioning industry.
"Our customers' requirements are changing and we are developing targeted solutions for specialised markets," emphasises Shepherd. "We will soon also be able to offer high-quality gaskets for the pharmaceutical, medical and food and beverage industries, complementing our existing range of hygienic locks."
At the same time, DIRAK has expanded its sales team to further strengthen its close connection to customers, while a team of trained logistics specialists will ensure efficient picking and packing so that even palletised large quantities can be reliably delivered to new and existing customers and distributors.
With these measures, DIRAK is consolidating its position as a reliable partner for fastening solutions in the UK - now and in the future.
