Electronic circuit breaker system offers communication via EtherNet/IP
There are now more possible applications for the Caparoc circuit breaker system from Phoenix Contact: With the new power module with EtherNet/IP interface, the system can be used in other communication systems.
EtherNet/IP is one of the leading industrial network protocols in the USA. The fields of application encompass various industries, but above all factory automation and the process industry. With the new power module, the customisable circuit breaker system can now also be used in these areas.
The large selection of circuit breaker modules and the potential distribution module facilitates the design of an individual system with EtherNet/IP communication interface. An online configurator is also available to adjust and mark the system directly. The personalised system can be ordered from a quantity of one and can be reordered at any time based on a personal item number.
Suitable digital services provide support with individual data, among other things, beginning with the 3D model, continuing through marking, all the way to the data sheet and EPLAN.
In addition to the new power module, additional power modules with PROFINET, IO-Link communication interface, or simple status output and reset input are available for the Caparoc system.
