Heavy duty sliding systems
Constructing heavy duty sliding or lifting systems requires specialised steel profiles and bearings. Euro-Bearings has been supplying such products for many years and has recently updated its "Combined Roller Bearing and Mating Steel Profiles" catalogue to reflect this important area of its business.
>The result is that the catalogue now lists full ranges of bearings, mounting plates, steel profiles (both C and H sections), flanged clamps (new in this issue), data for selecting the correct product for the job, and information on how to adjust the adjustable bearings. The catalogue is available as a download from the Euro-Bearings website www.euro-bearings.com/pdfcat.htm and clicking on 'Combined Roller Bearings 2015'.
>The Mating Steel Profiles section of the catalogue now lists the different bearings that can be used with that profile making it easier for the designer to select.
>This facility can also be accessed online on the CR1 page on the website and clicking on any bearing part number. This now means the designer can either work from the selected channel or the selected bearing and see the relating components. CAD files of the steel profiles are also available to download.
