For quick, easy and precise clamping of shafts and hubs, ABSSAC offers a wide range of hydraulic clamping bushes. ETP products simplify shaft connection and maintenance - whether the hubs are to be removed or repositioned, the mounting and dismantling process can be done in seconds.

All ETP products consist of a double-walled hardened steel (in some cases stainless steel) sleeve, filled with a pressure medium. Utilising Pascal's Principle when the pressure screw is tightened, an even and moderately high surface pressure is created against the shaft and hub, causing the locking effect. Eliminating the need for mechanical clamping connections, the clamping hubs offer high concentricity and low run-out, and are available in both steel and stainless steel.
Among the range is the ETP-Classic, suitable for a large variety of applications, for mounting timing belt pulleys, cam curves and arms, etc. Positioning along and around the shaft is easy and fast with high precision. A variation on the ETP-Classic is the ETP-Classic type R, which is made of stainless steel and has hex head stainless steel clamping screws, facilitating easy cleaning essential within food processing applications. It has more clamping screws, as the tightening torque is lower for stainless steel screws.
Benefits and features of the ETP-Classic include: small built-in dimensions; quick mounting and dismantling; ability to make fine adjustment of the hub during mounting; easy mounting thanks to low tightening torque and a small number of screws; and good concentricity, even after several mountings.
