Inductive sensors rated for high pressures

Contrinex HIGH-Pressure rated Inductive sensors can operate at a peak pressure of 1,000 bar and sense at up to 3mm, ensuring reliable, accurate sensing in the most demanding pneumatic and hydraulic applications.

The company says these sensors offer 50 times longer lifetime under pressure than the industry standard. The sensors are suitable for continuous duty at pressures up to 500 bar (7,250 PSI) and peak pressures of 1,000 bar (14,500 PSI). They ensure reliable, accurate sensing in the most demanding pneumatic and hydraulic applications and are available with classic metal housings or one-piece, stainless-steel construction.

The HIGH-Pressure inductive range is said to be ideal for detecting the smallest parts and are ideal for piston-control applications where space is at a premium, with world-class reliability.

Contrinex also offers EXTRA-Pressure inductive sensors for lower pressure application, with the benefit of low-pricing. These sensors offer dependable, accurate presence- and position-sensing at pressures up to 200 bar. The company says they are the ideal solution for position and presence sensing where pressure would damage a normal inductive sensor.

Contrinex EXTRA-Pressure inductive sensors excel at operating continuously in permanently pressurised conditions and at water depths up to 1,000 metres.
