The challenges of modern machine building place an onus on asset management for a reliable overview of all machines and components, and to enable quick and easy optimisation of service processes. In a new video, Johanna Neujahr, product manager for automation systems at Lenze, and Momina Allawalla, product owner at Logicline, look at how the two companies have worked together to deliver a range of asset management and ticket management services as part of Lenze’s digital solutions.
“As a machine builder, you can keep track of when components are being changed, and you always have the right information and documentation for your components,” says Neujahr. “This means if there is ever a problem with the machine, the service technician has all the information to hand in a single location, saving considerable time.
Allawalla adds: “When you combine this with ticket management, it is even more useful. Customers can request help 21/7 at the click of a button, and service technicans have a single tool to provide all of the overview they need, regardless of contact channel.” Tickets can be created manually, or the machine can create a ticket automatically without the need for human intervention.
