IST launches spring design app

>Compression Spring Calculator shares a number of features with IST's desktop Spring Calculator Professional and its online Spring Calculator software, including design and spring wire specifications from around the world and an extremely flexible way of defining your spring. The app supports both English/Imperial and Metric measurement units, and displays results of the calculated design in a clear and informative manner. Designs can be saved to the cloud and emailed as PDF files to customers or colleagues.

>The app has been designed to run on iPad, and makes full use of the display area available to give full tabular details of the calculated spring design, including data for up to three operating positions. A drawing of the spring is dynamically created from the design, with dimensions, and a Load/length graph is also available.
