The KiStudio Lab software package from Kistler offers an intuitive way of setting up and executing a measurement quickly and easily. Together with the powerful analysis software jBEAM, the user gets a comprehensive package for many test and measurement tasks.
KiStudio Lab is compatible with the Kistler LabAmp 5165A and 5167A. These universal laboratory charge amplifiers provide signal conditioning and data acquisition for the measurement of force, acceleration, pressure, reaction torque or strain using piezoelectric sensors.
jBEAM is a comprehensive post-processing software with extensive analysis functions and the capability of visualization and report generation. jBEAM Basic, included in the starter pack, is sufficient for many basic applications but where more options are needed the Professional version supports the import of multiple measurement file formats common in R&D and testing labs as well as multimedia formats to combine measurement data with images, audio and videos. The extensive analysis functions include arithmetic operations, curve analysis and FFT calculations up to matrix operations, signal filters and statistics. The comprehensive visualization functions allow the inclusion of simple text elements, forms and tables plus multiple types of 2D and 3D graphs. This ensures there is always a suitable format to display measurement data. In addition, the control elements allow the creation of interactive visualizations and reports.
Raw data, centrally stored easily and securely, can be exported and analysed offline in a wide range of formats. If additional measurements are needed at any time in the future, the stored measurement chain set-up may be downloaded and installed enabling further data to be acquired almost instantly. No need to reinvent the wheel!!
