Laminate offers exceptional properties at elevated temperatures

New Tufnol Composites" Grade 6G/92 is a high strength resin bonded glass fabric laminate specifically formulated for applications requiring exceptional mechanical and insulation properties at elevated temperatures.

Laminate offers exceptional properties at elevated temperatures

It is a strong, rigid material with good dimensional stability, moisture resistance and electrical properties. It is also flame retardent and can be readily machined for finished components, using standard machine tools. Resistant to a wide range of working environments, it shows exceptional thermal endurance properties for components operating at temperatures in the region of 250degC.

Tufnol Composites" Grade 6G/92 is ideally suited to applications in the aircraft industry, electrical insulation and in industrial processes where high operating temperatures are required. Typical applications include heat barriers on plastic injection moulding machines, support assemblies on diesel engine exhaust systems, high temperature insulation on jet engines, terminal plates for strain gauges and sealing rings for chemical plants.
