Medium-voltage integrated heater and control platform enables industrial-scale electrification
Watlow highlights its POWERSAFE medium-voltage integrated heater and control platform, a purpose-built solution that helps industrial operators electrify large thermal loads while simplifying infrastructure, improving operational reliability and supporting decarbonisation initiatives.
As manufacturers and process operators transition away from fossil fuel-fired heating systems, many face challenges related to power distribution, system complexity and scaling electric process heat for multi-megawatt applications. POWERSAFE addresses these challenges with an integrated platform that combines medium-voltage electric heating, advanced controls and built-in protection systems in a single solution.

Designed for industrial applications requiring significant thermal capacity, POWERSAFE supports multi-megawatt loads and supply voltages up to 7,200V. By connecting directly to medium-voltage power, the platform reduces the need for step-down transformers, minimises cabling requirements and lowers overall system complexity.
