To continue meeting increasing demand, Nabtesco is substantially expanding its production capacities with the construction of a new factory in Hamamatsu, 250 km southwest of the its headquarters in Tokyo – which will double the annual production capacity to two million precision gearboxes by 2026.

A fully integrated, decentralised drive unit with a Mecanum wheel, as well as condition monitoring concepts for future real-time monitoring of robots, round out the product range.

More than 10 million cycloidal gears are in use worldwide. Force transmission by means of cams and rollers ensures high efficiency, exceptional resistance to shock loads (up to 500 % of the rated torque) and minimal backlash throughout the entire service life (hysteresis loss of 0.5 to max. 1 arcmin).
