New battery protection and PSU PTC fuses
ATC Semitec can now offer low-profile "strap" PTC fuses from 0.7A up to 10A. This makes battery assembly considerably faster than using radial-lead PTCs helping to limit production time and thus save money.
For current values either side of those listed above (ie down to 0.05A and as high as 15A) the Semifuse range also offers various radial formats with voltage ratings up to 230V AC if necessary. SMD options from 0.05A to 3A are also readily available.
The Semifuse range complements ATC's Semitec NTC thermistors, NEC one-shot thermal fuses and PEPI thermostats, ensuring ATC can offer a one-stop shop for battery and power-supply designers alike.
