New configurable split cable entry boxes offer flexible solutions

Buttkereit, supplier of a high-quality range of products specialising in the field of cable management, including DES Split cable entry systems, is launching a new range of configurable inserts from Detas for the aforementioned system.

The sturdy DES Split cable entry system is an excellent solution for routing cables into cabinets and enclosures. The split system allows for cables with plugs and sockets to be sealed and secured without the need for cutting and re-wiring cables, whilst maintaining high levels of protection against water and dust ingress. And the overmolded gasket guarantees faster installation times and complete V0 self-extinguishing of the system.

This new range of inserts takes the innovative solution to the next level. Traditional cable entry systems can be limiting, sometimes other connection options are required, but rather than simply add a further box, this offers flexibility to configure to your cable requirements. Numerous different external connection options can be integrated into the cable entry box to provide quick connections without removing the panel.

Available in a raft of connection options, including USB 2.0, USB 3.0, RJ-45, HDMI, USB-Mini, USB-Micro, among others, the versatility of the new inserts offers extensive solutions for achieving all connection types in a single cut-out or box.

The range of grommets and flanges available make for quick connections without having to open the electrical panel. The true modularity of the system, that allows quick connection and release of cables, is a huge advantage with the increasing plug-in nature of cable entry systems.
