A new range of small bevel gearboxes has been added to the already extensive range of gear reducers offered by precision engineered components and gears/gearboxes manufacturer Ondrives.
They start at 0.035Nm torque capacity and go up to 4.032Nm as standard. 1:1 ratio is standard throughout the range which includes 3 sizes ranging from 34.925mm outside diameter to 63.5mm. All are made from green anodised aluminium housings and have 303 stainless steel shafts, sealed ball bearings (2 per shaft) and are greased for life with cold temperature (-40degC) grease optional, with -20degC to +80degC being the standard operating range. Maximum rotational speed for all versions is 2000rpm and 3000rpm for those boxes with hardened spiral bevels. Backlash figures vary from 1deg to 0.5deg for those units with polished hardened steel gears and spiral bevels.
The gearboxes are available to purchase now in the brand new gears and gearboxes catalogue as well as on the website. The website has recently been updated with hundreds of new products including a wide range of standard sprockets and chains to suit making the power transmission side of our business a particularly strong competitor within this market.
