Danfoss welcomes two new starters at partner companies

Danfoss welcomes two new starters at partner companies

Danfoss Drives maintains a very close relationship with all of its DrivePro partners, and it is especially proud to welcome new members of staff to Varicon (3D) Drives and Greenville Electrical. The two new recruits will be promoting the sale of Danfoss VLT and Vacon branded drives and DrivePro service products while delivering the high calibre of customer services that is consistently delivered by our partner network.

Varicon (3D) Drives, a DrivePro service partner specialising in variable speed drives (VSDs), UPS systems and installation, has recently employed Matt Siddon (pictured left) as area sales manager. In his new role, Matt will be managing accounts in the South West of England and South Wales. Matt is currently working from his home office in Bristol, where he is perfectly located for meeting customers to discuss sales, service and support of Danfoss and Vacon variable speed drives, having already had some socially distanced in-person meetings.

Matt has been working in the drives industry for over 10 years, and thanks to his applications expertise, particularly within the water industry, he is aiming to provide solutions which will increase productivity and reliability, whilst saving customers energy and money on their bills.

Allan Murray (pictured right) has recently joined drives partner Greenville Electrical as office manager at the Hamilton facility located just outside of Glasgow. Founded in 1978, Greenville has become one of the largest Danfoss drives distributors in the UK and Ireland. The company has offices in London, Belfast, Dundalk, Dublin and Hamilton. Allan will be supporting the Hamilton team with sales and service operations, managing the business systems and supporting customer liaison.

Allan has previously worked for a condition monitoring company and a leading drives manufacturer partner in the roles of technical sales engineer, project manager and then office manager. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Greenville and hopes to meet all Greenville and Danfoss partners as soon as restrictions lift.

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to the new recruits at Varicon and Greenville and officially introduce them to our customers”, said Danfoss Drives UK & IE country manager Alan Baird. “Creating customer orientated roles such as these testifies to our partners’ commitment to continue delivering the best possible service, particularly during the economic and social challenges we are currently facing while also investing in the future for the benefit of our customers.”
