Tattoo machines boost performance with Maxon motors

Tattoo machines boost performance with Maxon motors

Maxon's Swiss made products have become very popular within the tattoo world. In this video, Edward Waldron of Nedz talks about how the industry has changed and why more sophisticated tattoo guns are necessary.

The video focuses on Nedz, which manufactures the first tattoo machines to use a twin cylindrical drive system allowing the professional tattooist to control both the speed and punch separately. By altering the voltage the speed of the motor can be changed which in turn changes the frequency of hits to the skin.

All of the company's Micro-Rotary machines now come fitted with Maxon motors, which it says offer the highest levels of reliability.
