TML and TFC form new partnership for 2017

TFC Europe and Springco NI – part of The TML Group – are pleased to announce a new alliance that will provide customers with an enhanced level of representation and service from their Portadown location from 30th January 2017.

Both companies are well-established suppliers to the aerospace, defence, telecommunications, electronics, engineering, petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors and are quality approved to ISO9001, AS9100c, and hold SC21 Bronze Awards for Aerospace.

Springco NI, established in 1954 and the TML Group, established in 1985, are spring manufacturers and leading aluminium finishers based in Portadown and Newtownards respectively in Northern Ireland, whilst TFC, founded over 50 years ago is now recognised as one of the premier fastener distribution businesses in the UK & Europe. The new trading partnership will take advantage of the skill sets offered by each to provide customers with a broader range of products and services.

These combined services and products will now consist of fasteners and fixings, Smalley flat wire rings and springs, industrial vending solutions, bearings, spring products, circlips, shaft retainers, rings, quick connectors, seals and o-rings. The alliance will also offer local stock management services, a parts kitting service, metal forming and finishing services, and full technical support.

Morgan Burgoyne, chief executive of TFC said: “This alliance, which builds on years of collaborative experience, combines our knowledge of supply chain solutions with TML's local experience in the technical environment in which our customers operate to deliver a powerful proposition. Working together as an integrated team, combining advisory services and innovative products, we will be able to connect on both existing and future initiatives to help our customers maximize their technology investments and drive better business outcomes.”

David Sales, managing cirector of the TML Group, added: “We are delighted to enter into this partnership with our colleagues in TFC Europe to share our collective skill sets to enhance and grow our business and offer Vendors and Customers alike a wider range of allied products and services.”
