OEM Automatic and ABSSAC unite to strengthen motion and actuation expertise
The acquisition of ABSSAC by OEM International brings together two highly respected engineering specialists, creating a stronger technical partner for UK industry with expanded expertise in actuation, motion control and industrial automation.

ABSSAC has built a strong reputation supplying mechanical power transmission and linear motion technologies, including electric linear actuators, ball screws, linear guides, gearboxes, couplings, bearings and complete positioning systems. These products are used extensively throughout manufacturing, process industries, material handling, packaging equipment and special-purpose machinery where reliable and precise motion is critical.
Combined with OEM Automatic's extensive portfolio of motors, drives, sensors, safety systems, machine vision and industrial control components, customers now have access to a broader range of technologies from a single engineering-focused supplier.
The acquisition creates significant opportunities for machine builders and systems integrators seeking complete motion and actuation solutions. Applications that once required sourcing components from multiple suppliers can now benefit from a combination of mechanical transmission expertise and advanced automation technologies, supported by a single technical team.
