Powering ahead with a new cable entry system

This new range of products perfectly complements the already extensive portfolio of cable handling and machine protection products available from the Cheshire based company. The new products include variants designed specific-ally for standard cables and pre-assembled cables, offer-ing a neat and simple solution for every application.

For standard cables, the cable entry plate system represents a real alternative to traditional cable gland concepts, as cables can be installed in seconds, delivering significant savings in time during panel assembly and installation. There are several different versions available, manufactured from plastic, aluminium or stainless steel to cater for the broadest range of applications and industries.

A separate part of the range uses a split system to solve the problem of assembling pre-assembled cables into enclosures. For example, cables with moulded plugs and connectors can be easily assembled without the need to remove and re-wire connectors, a process that can often invalidate the original cable warranty. The full range provides a variety of shapes and sizes and the capability to accommodate up to 48 pre-assembled cables with a high packing density in control cabinets and terminal boxes. Ingress protection up to IP69 is also available depending upon the specific product type.
