From 15 to 19 September 2026, Rodriguez will be showcasing its RTB bearings for the machine tool industry at AMB in Stuttgart. The axial-radial cylindrical roller bearings are designed for rotary and positioning units in machine tools and are suitable for applications including rotary tables, tool tables, milling heads and additional rotary axes.
The range also includes sizes 650 and 850, with which Rodriguez has recently expanded the series' scope of application.
RTB bearings absorb radial and axial forces in both directions, transmit tilting moments and support precise, repeatable movement. This makes them suitable for applications in which rigidity, running accuracy and load-carrying capacity play a key role.
The right variant for every requirement
Various versions are available depending on the application: RTB Standard covers a wide range of rotary and positioning tasks; RTB-HSA is designed for applications with low friction torque and high speeds.
With RTB-AMS, measurement is inductive and non-contact. This makes the system insensitive to demanding environmental conditions and allows it to be adapted to different requirements for resolution and precision.
RTB-ABS combines the bearing with an absolute encoder. This means the position of the rotational axis is known immediately upon switch-on, without the need for a reference run. This simplifies machine start-up, reduces additional effort and supports precise motion sequences. Various interfaces are available for integration into the control system.
Also part of the trade fair lineup is the MovoTrak Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU): a collaboratively designed range extension for cobots.
Collaboration instead of collision: MovoTrak CTU
Trade fair visitors can look forward to another innovation: with the MovoTrak Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU), Rodriguez is offering, for the first time, a collaboratively designed range extension for cobots. The solution expands the working area by adding a movable 7th axis and enables a cobot to be used at multiple stations within a single system. This allows production processes to be structured more flexibly and robot systems to be utilised more efficiently.
The MovoTrak CTU is robustly built and designed for a wide range of applications. It is based on two linear units that ensure maximum torque load and rigidity even when the robot arm is fully extended. Building on these linear units, Rodriguez supplies a complete system including motors, gearboxes, and application-specific configuration.
Value-added products are also being showcased
In addition to precision bearings and linear technology, Rodriguez offers customised special solutions. Components can be adapted to the respective design and application requirements on request.
