ACOPOSmulti modules now up to 120kW
B&R has expanded its line of ACOPOSmulti drive system components and so entered the next 'weight class'. Customers now have inverters and power supply modules with maximum rated current values up to 165A available to them. The modules are offered for cold plate and feed-through mounting and also have two open slots that allow the use of various ACOPOSmulti plug-in cards.
The ACOPOSmulti drive system is said to be one of the most efficient on the market thanks to low power consumption provided by integrated PFC (Power Factor Correction), a stabilised DC bus (upstream transformers are not needed) and the ability to implement power regeneration (the resulting brake energy is fed back to the mains instead of being converted to heat). With these advantages, the 120 kW devices fit seamlessly into the modular line of ACOPOSmulti series products and offers customers further possibilities for optimising their machine design.
