Advanced servo technologies at PPMA
Control Techniques, part of the Nidec group of companies, will be demonstrating its advanced servo technologies designed for packaging and processing machinery builders’ industries at the PPMA exhibition this September.
Among the products being exhibited will be Control Techniques’ new range of control systems, which offer users the flexibility to choose between distributed or centralised control structures.
Users can now choose between using the on-board PLC integrated into the Unidrive M300, M400 and M600; the complete drive-based machine control solution in the flagship Unidrive M700; or the new standalone machine controllers, the MCz600 and MCz200.
This flexibility is carried through to Control Techniques’ approach to interoperability between different communications protocols. All Control Techniques drives are designed to overcome the issues inherent with using equipment from different suppliers, offering users the ability to incorporate Control Techniques’ advanced motor control technologies into an existing factory with the minimum of hassle.
As well as displays and demonstrations of its latest products, Control Techniques will also be hosting regular short presentations on its stand. These presentations will cover subjects including centralisation & decentralisation, Internet of Things and advanced servo control.
