Bernstein to showcase brand new switches at Southern Manufacturing
Switches, sensors and enclosures specialist, Bernstein Ltd, will be showcasing three brand new product ranges on Stand L79 at the UK’s largest regional manufacturing exhibition, Southern Manufacturing 2016, in February.
The new slim line Type I49 double insulated position switch has been specifically designed for applications where space is restricted and high ingress protection is required. With a depth of just 16mm and rated to IP67, the new range is perfect for both position indication and safety applications.
The IN62 and IN65 series are standard switches that conform to DIN EN 50047 and offer a protection class of IP67. Thanks to their regular dimensions, as well as the wide range of contacts and actuators available, these switches can be used in safety facilities and for position monitoring in virtually any industrial application.
The modularity of the IN65 makes it very versatile and thanks to the metal actuator locking and mounting clip, the product offers great flexibility in tool-free turning. The IN65 ideally combines the economic advantages of a plastic bodied switch, with the sturdiness of metal bodied products.
Bernstein safety switches and sensors have been developed to help protect machine operators from a variety of hazards and have a global reputation for quality. All products are designed to ensure customers meet the highest international quality and safety standards.
Managing Director, Rob Emms, explains: “The safety of machine operators is paramount for employers so we work closely with a number of machine manufacturers and companies that refurbish machines to ensure operators are protected from a variety of workplace risks.
“For example our popular Contactless Safety Monitoring Sensor, CSMS, which will also be on show at Southern Manufacturing, has been specifically developed to prevent machine guard manipulation. CSMS’ self-diagnostic capability ensures open safety guards and system errors can be located quickly and rectified before anyone comes to any harm.”
Bernstein will also be highlighting its Custom service which includes contract manufacturing and assembly, as well as a complete bespoking service for industrial enclosures - enabling customers to procure the exact products they need without involving third parties for secondary operations.
Other products on show at Southern Manufacturing include Rope Pull Switches, Industrial Enclosures, Safety Light Curtains, Control Enclosures and Suspension Systems, and Safety Switches for Machine Guards.
