Cost-effective THK linear guide available from stockThere's a new source of THK HSR Ct grade LM guides for UK companies, with product now available from stock from OEM Automatic, combining quick turnaround with a competitive price. Stock is available for immediate despatch, in rail sizes from 155mm to 45mm, and OEM says it can cut rail to specific customer length for same day despatch.
Integrating THK's unique processing technologies, the Model HSR with Ct grade LM guide series is ideally suited to general conveyance systems and other machine applications where the highest accuracy is less of a priority. Two versions are available: with HSR-C, the flange of the LM block has tapped holes and is mountable from the top and the bottom, making it ideal for use when the table cannot have through holds for mounting bolts; HSR-R has a smaller LM block width and tapped holes in the mounting section, making it optimal for locations with limited space on the table.
Dust prevention options include end seal and side seal. End seals attached on both ends of the LM block prevent foreign matter or water adhering to the top and side surfaces of the LM rail from entering the LM block. In addition, it is available as standard as a means to prevent the lubricant inside the LM block from leaking out. The side seal is used in locations where dust can enter the LM block from the side or bottom surface.
Dedicated caps are also available for the rail mounting holes of the LM guide, preventing filling with cutting chips or foreign matter that could then enter the LM guide.
During 2013 OEM Automatic invested heavily in its warehouse, installing a state-of-the-art floor to ceiling vertical storage system, giving 755m2 of storage space within less than 50m2 of floor space. In addition, the company has also set up a purpose built workshop with rail cutting machine dedicated to servicing customer needs for the THK product.
Established in the UK in 1989, OEM Automatic represents around 50 leading suppliers and acts as their local sales agent. Products are divided into four business areas - panel; machine and safety; pressure and flow; and motors - enabling the company to combined the advantage of being specialised in small areas with the benefits of being part of a large organisation. Further, with its ability to see the whole value chain and total costs, OEM Automatic aims to improve its customers' competitive advantage and profitability. The company's ambition is to make life easier for its customers and to find the best and most cost-efficient solutions.
