Ethernet option for field I/O communication

Ethernet option for field I/O communication

Murrelektronik already provides a wide range of field bus systems that offer solutions at IP67 for machinery and system installations. But now bus nodes for the popular Ethernet/IP and Profinet I/O protocols in the form of the modular, award winning Cube67, MVK and Impact67 are now extending its range. The gateway to system management networks is therefore opening.

Cube67 has a an array of configurable and modular digital and analogue I/O as well modules for valve clusters, logic, temperature, counters and/or safe outputs. This does not just reduce the connecting time but also the number of components. You also benefit from a compact design and the high protection rating that is guaranteed by full encapsulation.

Murrelektronik also has a modular solution at the ready for the interface between the cabinet and the field in the form of the Modlink MPV control panel coupling. Modlink MPV is a frame system with single and double versions that is fits the standard size 16 and 24 control panel cutouts. Depending on requirements, the frames can be equipped with different connector inserts and adapters that are coded for RJ45 and M12D. The stringent IP65 protection class makes it possible to have long-lasting connections between the cabinet and field components. The number of potential faults and the cost can be further reduced by using prefabricated and tested standard cables.
