Extended range of profile accessories
The new accessories that MK Profile Systems has added to its already extensive range offer quicker assembly time, more flexibility, and a sleeker design. The new products include a drop-in-nut with spring, profile edging for panelling and a multifunctional panel block.
The new drop-in-nuts from MK are intended for later insertion in the profile slot if, for example, the conventional nuts can no longer be inserted from the end of the profile. The spring fixes the nut, making assembly of attachment elements vertically much easier. The integrated ESD function ensures the conductivity of the connection.
The new profile edging from MK is designed for fixing panelling into the profile slot. During assembly, the profile edging is pressed into the slot of the profile together with the panelling. Thanks to the geometry, the side flanks of the profile edging are pressed to the panelling. The result is a form-fitting transition with no recesses for dirt, and liquids drain to the outside. The new profile edging is used for panels with a material thickness of 4-6mm and is available in black or silver-grey.
The new undetachable panel block with cover and an undercut flanged button-head screw with ribbed washer produces a unique undetachable panel attachment in accordance with the Machinery Directive. The fixing nut can be inserted into the panel block in two fixed positions for drill holes with 10 or 15mm cleat edge clearance. As an additional option, the nut can be turned 30deg and is then freely adjustable in the panel block. By pressing on the cap, the nut is prevented from sliding out and the panel block cannot be dismantled without removing the cap using tools.
