Fewer parts and reduced maintenance

A family of hollow actuators from Oriental Motor effects fast and highly accurate positioning of inertial loads. And, by allowing the direct mounting of an index table or arm, the actuators reduce both parts count and maintenance frequency.

Introduced as the DG Series, these high-performance actuators feature a large diameter hollow section having an output table on which a table or arm can be mounted directly, simplifying wiring and piping. With their use of a 2-phase step motor and closed loop control, the Series eliminates the risk of mis-steps and enables higher speeds for faster positioning. Yet the user-friendly features of a stepping motor are retained.

The highly accurate positioning offered by the DG Series is a function of the actuator's gear reduction mechanism, which assures a repetitive positional accuracy of +/-15sec. Available in 16 frame sizes from 2.36 to, the DG Series is RoHS-compliant, and conforms with UL, CSA and CE safety standards.
