Field I/O communication with industrial Ethernet
Most office networks communicate using Ethernet technology, however industrial systems use many different, incompatible fieldbus protocols. Communication of information between factory and office can therefore be complicated and expensive. Murrelektronik industrial Ethernet systems help to solve this problem. Nodes for the popular EtherNet/IP and Profinet systems are available in the award winning Cube67 modular and MVK compact IP67 systems.
Faults such as open circuit, short circuit/overload, loss of supply, and others are relayed back and can even suggest replacement part numbers to the maintenance staff, massively increasing up-time. You can also retrieve data or carry out pre-commissioning I/O checks using any Web browser via a Web server that is integrated in the bus node, from anywhere in the world.
Murrelektronik reports that a vast array of I/O is available, including configurable digital, analogue, temperature, counters, safe outputs, valve cluster interfaces, and others. And the I/O products feature a robust IP67 housing.
