The short-stroke DCW is a truly submersible transducer range of LVDTs, which measures small displacement variations. Designed for displacement measurement ranges of between +/-2.5mm to +/-10mm with the capability of operating at pressures up to 10 bar, alternative electrical connection options are available to extend the DCW's pressure handling to 206 bar.
DCW transducers are ideal for a broad range of wet and dirty conditions including papermaking, valve and sluice position applications, structure monitoring and underwater cable laying. The DCW is constructed from welded stainless steel and offered with either a sprung or unguided shaft and suitable for DC-DC operation. The DCW series is available with a 4-20mA (2-wire) option to facilitate the use of very long cables.
