Inkoma EFK Elaflex coupling from Francis and Francis

The simple EFK 3-component, flexible elastomer 'spider' shaft connector is an externally-fitted/removed-Spider (wrap-round) coupling.

It is suitable for universal applications for minor shaft misalignment compensation [Angular (up to 1°), radial (up to +/-0.15mm)]. Hub material is sintered, GG cast iron, aluminium, or steel, providing a positive, relatively stiff, fail-safe drive (in either direction), with vibration damping and shock absorption. _The hard wearing, simple and economically replaceable 'spiders' are oil and ozone resistant, withstanding temperatures from -40° to +100°C.

The range offers:
Maximum Transmission Torques (TKmax): Up to 818Nm,
Maximum Speeds: Up to 10,000 RPM [Steel, or SG iron Hubs for over 30m/sec. peripheral velocity]
Hubs: Pilot, or finish bored (H7), (keywayed to DIN 6885/1). up to Ø60mm.
