Keeping it simple, safe and lean

Aluminium profiles offer benefits in a wide range of machinery applications, from machine guarding to machine frameworks, offering ergonomically designed systems that meet requirements for simplicity, safety, and lean assembly.

The days of fully bespoke designed and constructed machine guards and assemblies may not be quite gone, but when custom systems can be easily and cost-effectively constructed from standard aluminium profiles, with the added flexibility of repurposing when needed, then it is hard to argue against them in a vast range of applications.

Aluminium profile systems from the likes of Minitec have proven themselves over the years in a wide range of industrial tasks, from guards to assembly lines and ergonomically designed workstations to bespoke designs.  The Minitec aluminium profile system can be used in a myriad of applications. From general industry to sport and leisure applications Minitec profiles have limitless applications.

At the heart of the Minitec system is the unique Powerlock fastening method which requires no specific preparation, pre-machining or special tools and uses standard off the shelf fasteners. The use of standard M8 fasteners reduces the cost of the overall package of profiles and locking system considerably compared with many other systems which incorporate brand specific locking systems. Thus the only tool required to set up or dismantle a system is an Allen Key.

Precisely because the system uses standard fasteners means that structures can be easily dismantled and set up again using the original components. This is perfect for dealing with new factory layouts and keeps wastage of valuable assets to a minimum. Further, with the system making it easy for the most efficient concept for assembly lines and workstations to be achieved, companies can embrace lean principles. A wide range of accessories ensures that operators can do their jobs on the lines in the most comfortable and safe environment, keeping unnecessary handling to a minimum.
