Low weight, corrosion-free linear motion system

Low weight, corrosion-free linear motion system For those who prefer an aluminium-based linear motion system for applications where weight and corrosion resistance are critical considerations, LoPro from HepcoMotion continues to be a good choice. However, thanks to the introduction of its new QuickTrak system, this is no longer the only option. It too is a low profile and compact system, but QuickTrak provides a commercial alternative to LoPro for applications calling for a light but robust structure. A broad range of slide widths and two drive options considerably broaden its scope. The new linear guide with proven DualVee Motion Technology is an off-the-shelf solution. As it is easily integrated into most machine configurations it reduces design and installation costs. QuickTrak can be specified as a non-driven system, as a belt driven system with innovative tensioning idler pulley assembly, or as a leadscrew driven system with a choice of metric and imperial leads. It is principally designed for light industrial use, typically in laboratory, medical and packaging applications, and ideal for table-top machines and small XYZ gantry set-ups. QuickTrak’s use of DualVee guide wheels, components and assemblies provides long length, low friction movement and reduced noise and vibration.
