M Barnwell Services collect ISO 14001 certificate
At the BSI headquarters in Milton Keynes, fluid sealing specialist M Barnwell Services collected its ISO 14001:2004 accreditation for environmental management.
The ISO 14001:2004 standard exists to help organisations minimise how their operations negatively affect the environment, comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and continually improve upon these standards.
Andy Clarke, M Barnwell Services' quality manager said: "Achieving the ISO 14001 is a major milestone and reflects the responsibility that M Barnwell Services has always taken to ensure that we look after the environment for future generations."
MD, Mike Barnwell, commented: "This award is consistent with our corporate philosophy and values at M Barnwell Services. It is the culmination of years of hard work and a validation that we are rightly a market leader offering environmentally responsible products and solutions. This accreditation is embedded within every aspect of our business."
Presenting the award was BSI's service delivery EMEA Andrew Launn and accepting for M Barnwell Services, were Steve Barnwell (director), Andy Clarke (quality manager), and Tim Stanley (financial controller).
ISO 14001:2004 is the latest in a series of accolades and accomplishments achieved by M Barnwell Services. Other accreditations include ISO 9001 that is recognised globally as the quality management system standard.
