Modular contactor delivers high performance and reliability

Modular contactor delivers high performance and reliability Meeting modern requirements for high reliability and performance, Softstart has introduced the Hyundai HiMC range of magnetic contactors and overload relays. The advanced design meets today's protection needs in motor control centres and other demanding control systems. It also employs a modular construction that allows the quick and simple mounting of auxiliary contact blocks, timers, mechanical latching blocks and other control products.
 
The HiMC magnetic contactor is highly compact and noise free, and offers a significantly extended electrical and mechanical lifetime. New materials employed in the construction prevent any generation of corrosive substances that compromise operating life, while a special anti-rust oil treatment of the core helps to maintain noise-free operation.
 
Both AC (50/60Hz) and DC versions are available spanning most control voltage ranges, each with electronic circuitry that provides reliable switching even through severe voltage drops.
 
HiMC models are available with either 1NO and 1NC contacts, or 2NO and 2NC contacts. Two auxiliary contact blocks of 1NO and 1NC can be attached to each side of the HiMC to provide up to four additional NO contacts and four additional NC contacts.
