Munich's Automatica trade fair - bucking the trend

Munich's Automatica trade fair - bucking the trend
As far as we know, manufacturers of automation equipment don't actually produce machinery on which green shoots flourish, but Munich's Automatica trade fair, running from 8 to 11 June this year, provides evidence that the economic recovery has begun. Four months before opening, 26,000 square metres of space, occupying four large halls, have been sold already to exhibitors from over 30 countries; and in the next couple of months, these figures are expected to grow as confidence in the industry takes root.

And while on the green theme, Automatica this year is devoting a section of the show to " Green Automation" with specific machinery highlighted for its environmentally-friendly design and production and for its contribution to sustainability. Full details of this and everything else on the show can be found on www.automatica-munich.com

Now in its fourth edition, Automatica has become Europe's leading trade fair for the automation industry and British interest is increasing. A visit to Munich this June is strongly encouraged. Direct flights to Munich are frequent from several UK airports and fares inexpensive. Public transport throughout the city of Munich is free of charge with your entrance ticket - register and purchase your ticket on the Automatica website.

All questions on any aspect of Automatica can be answered by its UK office; Pattern (Trade Fairs) Ltd, e: info@pattern.co.uk; tel: 0208 940 4625.
