New products from Leuze at Drives and ControlsThe Drives & Controls exhibition is a big event for Leuze Electronic because the company will use 16 product display plinths, five touch screen displays and eight other monitors to help launch a whole host of new sensing, identification and machine safety products.
Distance measurement sensors: The stand will show a vibrating loudspeaker being measured at micron accuracy, a laser distance sensor for measuring up to 300m and a barcode positioning system accurate to +/-2mm anywhere along 6.5 miles.
BCL300i: The launch of a new family of high performance, low cost barcode readers, plus its big brother, the extremely successful BCL500i barcode reader. Both feature code fragment reconstruction which enables them to read damaged barcodes and offer fully integrated Profibus.
LSIS400i: The smartest Smart Camera offers barcode, 2D, DPM & Pharmacode reading in addition to advanced machine vision analysis. Unique optics and lighting help this vision system excel.
LES and LRS: An alternative to vision analysis, these laser based measurement sensors can provide edge positions or presence detection for example when checking the fill level of a tote box, shapes at a machine infeed or completeness for example checking all the bottles are in a crate.
MSI100 and MSI200: Programmable safety controllers and their Profibus reporting interface module.
SOLID: 'Plug and Play' machine safety light curtains with a MC336 magnetic coded safety switch and a MSI100 Programmable safety controller.
RS4: Laser safety scanner illustrating its unique built in motion monitoring and speed analysis.
Whilst Leuze electronic is 49 years old this year, the Leuze team intend to celebrate the 150th birthday of their parent company Leuze Group at the show.
