Patented static mixer solves mixing problem

New from Chemineer is the patented Kenics HEV high-efficiency static mixer. The HEV is claimed to provide pressure drops up to 75 percent lower than any other static mixer available and can handle any turbulent-flow mixing process regardless of line size or shape. In addition to providing uniform and complete blending, the HEV limits mixer length to less than 1.5 pipe diameters, resulting in space savings.


The Kenics HEV static mixer is designed to handle mixing problems common to water and wastewater treatment processes. It can easily be configured for non-circular cross sections and open channels, providing efficient additive blending in places not suitable for traditional static mixers. Mixing is accomplished by controlled vortex structures generated by the low-profile tab geometry.


Backed by the most advanced technology and hundreds of installations worldwide, mixing performance is 100 percent guaranteed. The HEV is available in industry-standard materials such as FRP, PVC/CPVC, PFA, and epoxy-coated steel as well as all metals and alloys.
