Powerful new safety relays just 6mm wide

Powerful new safety relays just 6mm wide

Divided into two series with component widths of 6mm and 12mm, the PSRmini modules from Phoenix Contact require up to 70% less space than comparable conventional safety relays. The 12mm series halves the required installation space while retaining the same performance, and the 6mm series enables complex applications to be implemented with just one enabling circuit.

Because the elementary relay is the most expensive component of the safety relay, it is now possible to implement safety solutions in a more cost-effective way. In other words, only the number of enabling circuits actually required need to be purchased. Phoenix Contact also designed the new relay to be highly compatible with the different signal sources in use today.

As well as traditional electromechanical sensors such as emergency stop buttons and safety door locks, reed and transponder switches can also be connected. Furthermore, it is also possible to use light grids and laser scanners.
