Thread detective can identify thread sizes

Thread detective can identify thread sizes
TFC Europe has added another product to its vast range of fixing and fastening products with the Combo Thread Detective. This is a precise and easy-to-use thread identifier for both nuts and bolts, consisting of gauges conveniently assembled onto a wire lanyard.

The Combo Thread Detective identifies thread sizes from both Metric and Imperial versions, and is especially well suited for distinguishing between similar inch and metric threads. The product is also equipped with a ruler for measuring stud lengths, which can be printed with a company or customer's information for promotional use.
With thread sizes permanently stamped onto each gauge and loops on each end for convenient hanging, the Combo Thread Detective is an extremely practical tool for a wide scope of people: from individuals through to small businesses and those working in large corporations.

Its arrival within TFC's product range comes at a time of significant growth for the company, which has recently launched a new website, Fastlines catalogue and Fast Tube. Technical Director at TFC, Brian Goode comments: "We are delighted to have the Combo Thread Detective amongst our thousands of off the shelf products. It is an incredibly useful tool for manufacturers and engineers alike and we are certain it will be in huge demand."

TFC also reports that it has acquired Cavalier Fasteners, adding to its product portfolio. Since its inception Cavalier has broadened its range of products to include non-stainless steel fasteners, silicones, packers, alignment washers and spider bolts.
