Valves meet needs for higher flow rates Two new valves from Integrated Hydraulics that are designed to meet the demands of engineers for higher flow rates and pressures have been introduced to complement and extend the company’s existing product range. The 1RDS702 is an 80 litre/min version of the 30-litre valve (1RDS302). These valves are very versatile, typically finding use as remote sequence or pilot operated 2-port, 2-way directional valves. In essence, they provide a simple means of opening a pressure line when a predetermined pilot pressure is reached. When a pre-set pilot pressure is reached the spool moves back against the spring opening the line between inlet and outlet. When the pilot pressure falls, the valve will return to its normal position. They are designed for pressures up to 420 bar. A new hot oil shuttle valve, designated 1HSH701, complements the company’s 20-litre model and provides hot oil exhaust in closed-loop, hydrostatic, transmission systems. The valve has a nominal flow rate of 80 litre/min and a maximum working pressure of 420 bar. Typically, the hot oil shuttle only has to pass around one quarter of the main flow, so this new valve from Integrated Hydraulics is suitable for use in transmission circuits up to 350 litre/min.
