WEG launches new energy efficient standard motor range at SPS/IPC/Drives 2012

WEG launches new energy efficient standard motor range at SPS/IPC/Drives 2012 WEG will be launching its highly anticipated new range of motors that represents a major breakthrough in providing high levels of energy efficiency at SPS/IPC/Drives show 2012.  The innovative motor is the only complete standard range of electric motors available on the market that meets the yet-to-be-ratified IE4 regulations, meaning that users can increase energy efficiencies significantly throughout their automation processes and applications.

Visitors to the Stand 250, Hall 3, will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the new motor and meet WEG's technical specialists, who will be on hand to discuss the latest innovations in electric motors and challenges faced in electric automation.

"Sustainability is the key theme for WEG at this year's SPS/IPC/Drives show," says Wilmar Henning, Managing Director of WEG Germany. "At WEG, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, right from the manufacture of our products, through to helping our customers become more energy efficient, reduce their carbon footprint and make significant cost savings.  We continually push boundaries in energy efficient motor technology and the introduction of this world-class range cements our position as leaders in the industry."

In addition to the new energy efficient motor, WEG will be displaying its extensive range of electric motors, including its robust W22X flameproof motor for hazardous area applications that meets IE2 or IE3 regulations.  The company will also be launching the new CFW500 inverter drive which has been specially designed to be versatile for all industries, and will also show a wide selection of drives and controls which are suitable for many industrial applications and have high levels of energy efficiency, reliability and operational life.
