West Control Solutions modular thyristors save space and timeWest Control Solutions has launched PMA Relay, a comprehensive range of thyristor power controllers that are easy to configure and have been specially designed to reduce wiring and associated labour time. This cost-effective, modular range of products offers a variety of sizes to meet every requirement. Furthermore their compact size means they can require up to 50% less cabinet space.
The Relay range offers a modular format, which means that customers only need pay for the units required. Whether the process load is constant or variable resistance, inductive or transformer coupled, single or three phase, the Relay range can provide a thyristor power controller to meet your exact requirements. The thyristor units start at 3A and offer an extensive range of sizes up to 2600A and 690Vac.
Configuration of the Relay range has been specifically designed to make them quick and easy to get up and running. The controllers provide a frontal key pad for configuration and to read V, I and Power, enabling the units to be set up in situ. The range is also compatible with RS 486 communications and has a USB port to simplify the set-up of multiple controllers. Overall, the Relay family requires little technical knowledge to install.
The slim, compact controllers of the Relay range are din rail mounted and offer a self-contained, all-in-one solution with Solid State Relays, Controllers and Fuses. This compact design requires as little as half the space as that used by traditional systems. The simple design also allows for easy maintenance, meaning the thyristor units can even be replaced by untrained personnel.
