Quick delivery on linear components
MISUMI maintains short and reliable delivery times even in difficult economic situations. This is achieved thanks to the large number of manufacturing plants across the world, a well-structured sales network and a sophisticated, crisis-proof logistics concept. Users of linear guides and pre-finished linear units or systems, in particular, are currently taking advantage of these short delivery times; they require alternatives to the more established suppliers, which are experiencing increased supply difficulties in this area.
Over the last few months, MISUMI has substantially expanded its range of linear components - many new types of pre-finished linear units are now available for a wide range of application areas. As with all other components, these are available ready-for-assembly within a few working days. The specified delivery times are achieved in over 99% of all cases.
Slide guides with a plastic spacer for extremely heavy loads, for example, have a standard delivery time of eight days. MISUMI also offers express delivery as an option. Users will also receive the standard version of a pre-finished LX series linear unit within eight working days, while the production and delivery of a customized model takes only five days longer.
"We now have a situation where technical parameters are almost less important than the fact that the delivery times specified in the paper and online catalogues are reliable," comments Stefan Pulver, Director of Sales & Marketing at MISUMI Europe. "We have recently attracted many new customers as the supplier market is consistently experiencing extreme delivery problems - the delivery time for a standard guide can sometimes take up to twelve weeks."
