Panduit has launched a new approach to the deployment of a manufacturing network that reduces installation time and saves operational costs. The Integrated Network Zone System enables seamless communications between control rooms and the manufacturing floors within industrial facilities.
>Available in three configurations, the System includes an Allen-Bradley Stratix Industrial Ethernet Switch from Rockwell Automation for faster deployment and superior management and diagnostics. The System is pre-assembled in a NEMA rated 4/12 enclosure with structured cabling and cable management integrated together using proven design and installation best practices. The CE approved system also includes Allen-Bradley uninterruptible power supplies installed behind a touch-safe protective cover.
>The Integrated Network Zone System is claimed to deliver up to 75% reduction in deployment time, while localising network traffic to improve resiliency.
>"The Integrated Network Zone System significantly reduces the costs and complications associated with integrating the plant floor and enterprise networks," said Steve Timian, director of industrial automation solutions at Panduit. "This robust system will provide our customers with the ability to manage and improve manufacturing processes and productivity."
