Rugged wristwatch-style enclosures for fitness, healthcare and security electronics
SERPAC's IP-rated BW Series watch-style enclosures are now available as three models (BW2, BW4, BW6) in a wide range of sizes and colours.
These very stylish and comfortable wearable enclosures are ideal for a broad spectrum of applications including fitness/GPS tracking, healthcare (heart rate monitoring), security and access control.
All three models offer high IP 67 ingress protection in a smart, modern three-piece design (top, bottom, strap) that makes assembly with the four stainless steel screws quick and simple.
The BW Series has a modular design which offers multiple standard configurations based on the three plan sizes. Customers can choose from various top and bottom heights and a selection of case and strap colours.
The tops and bottoms are moulded from impact-resistant polycarbonate while the straps are synthetic rubber.
Plan sizes range from 44.19 mm x 38.35 mm (BW2) to 51.05 mm x 80.26 mm (BW6). For each model, the top is available in three heights, 6.35 mm, 8.89 mm, 11.43 mm. BW6 also offers a sloped top: 20.57 mm. The bottom comes in three depths: 1.78 mm, 4.06 mm, 6.86 mm.
The pin-and-tuck strap is assembled between the top and bottom parts and provides the IP 67 sealing. This strap is perforated, making it breathable for added comfort. It is offered in eight colours: black, blue, gun metal, neon green, neon orange, orange, yellow and white. BW2 and BW6 each offer a choice of two strap lengths.
