Sapa Profiles UK has produced and printed its latest standards catalogue. The catalogue contains the complete range of standard aluminium profiles from Sapa Profiles UK, part of the world’s largest producer of aluminium extrusion.
During the design stages of a project, there are many opportunities to incorporate features that will make profiles easier to machine and assemble. Sapa encourages designers to take advantage of this stage along with the benefits of aluminium to ensure the final product is as efficient as possible. Capitalising on this at this stage can ensure value through the supply chain and help avoid costly adjustments further down the line.
The catalogues are especially useful for stockists, distributors as well as end users. The new catalogue comes with details on the following standards: round bar, flat bar, square bar, hexagonal bar, equal and unequal angle, channel, round tube, rectangular tube, square tube, top hat, I beam, J, T and Z section and various miscellaneous sections.
There is a range of alloys available and quantity and sizes will vary depending on press size. Sapa Profiles UK standards will be extruded from three UK sites; Birtley, Tibshelf and Cheltenham.
