Tapeswitch adds to its safety range
Tapeswitch has added a 2-wire safety control unit to its range of pressure-sensitive safety-edge products. Tapeswitch can now offer control units for both 2-wire and 4-wire configurations allowing customers to choose whichever configuration is best for their particular application.
>The new control unit designated PSSR/2, is a DIN rail mounted unit has been designed to meet the requirements of EN13849-1:2006 PLd and EN62061 SIL2 category 3 when used in conjunction with a Tapeswitch 2-wire sensing edge. Tapeswitch sensing edges have been used in industry for many years have a proven track record. Now the addition of this new controller means Tapeswitch pressure-sensitive products can be used in many more applications than ever before.
